Less than a month left until we welcome Christmas!
Every year we are starting very excited to decorate the Christmas tree's branches with multicolored balls, garlands and lights, neglecting the decoration at its bottom. Usually in order not to leave empty the part under the Christmas tree we place a manger below, while there are thousands of other ways to perfect it!
There are many ways to avoid the classic manger and create your own DIY decoration for this year.
Use the manger to decorate an other part of the house and follow one of the following ways to get away from the usuals in your Christmas decoration!
5 Ideas to decorate the bottom of the Christmas tree!
The easiest and most common solution is to fill the gap under the tree with gifts! Look for empty boxes that you may have left over in any size (from moving, old gifts, product packaging) and get some colored wrapping cardboard and shiny ribbons. These are enough to beautify the finish of your Christmas tree!
Boxes Books and Canvases
All of us if we search well in our house we will find some boxes that we do not use, either from cosmetics or jewelry or any other storage and some small canvas paintings that we never hung on the wall. So take a look at the items you have registered in your warehouse and cupboards and it is certain that you will find useful items! Lay a cover under the tree in the color you like, dress the boxes with Christmas wrappers and place them on top of each other in a beautiful shape. Do the same with the canvases and also with the books. Decorate on them or next to them a few colored balls and hug them with a row of lights. It will definitely be the most creative and easy decoration that you will have given to your tree!
Who is not crazy about the idea of a decorative Christmas train? It evokes memories from our childhood years and if you have already had your own child, it is definitely something he asks for every year or they have already brought it to him as a gift.
Anyway, you can find a whole train or only its wagons in every department store with toys. Another element that would take it off is a round thin piece of tree trunk or just a wooden palette that if you want you can paint in any color that pleases you! Fasten the tree on the wood and rest the train on it! Some colored sails right and left under the train would give it the ultimate Christmas magic!
The most practical and simple idea to cover the bottom of the tree is to put it in a wicker basket! It clearly beautifies it since its metal base is not visible but also gives it an alternative and more natural style. This material of the wicker basket and its shape refers to the quality of the natural tree and makes our Christmas tree look more "alive".'!
Complement to this Christmas tree in a basket, can be a smaller accompanying basket filled with balls and ornaments! If it still seems empty enough for you, wrap garlands and lights around the baskets !!
It is enough to decorate your tree amazingly!
We all love pillows and we have enough in our house to decorate our sofas. Others, more modern, use the pillows as a seat on the floor of their living room, which decorates it amazingly.
Somehow we can decorate the bottom of our tree! Placing, Christmas or not, pillows around the tree so that they fill it with colors but mainly cover the ugly gap!!
